01Summary
This project aimed to provide physical and compute infrastructure for a central government entity. The documented scope of the project included supplying a package of network cabinets and accessories, in addition to central enterprise servers. The physical equipment supplied included power distribution units, internal ventilation modules, and cable management systems. This project reflects DIMAS's ability to supply the essential components for outfitting server room cabinets.
02Requirements
The project scope included supplying six rack servers, floor-standing cabinets, power distribution components, in-cabinet ventilation, and cable management. These elements cover layers of the physical and compute infrastructure for a server room, without describing the project as a complete Micro Data Center.
03Technical fit
The supplied components cover multiple functions within the cabinets: PDUs provide power distribution at the rack level, fan modules support air circulation within the cabinets, while management components are used to organize connecting wires. These elements do not represent a substitute for central UPS systems, precision cooling, or environmental monitoring required to operate rooms at the highest reliability standards.
