Network Assessment & Infrastructure Audit
Network infrastructure assessment and audit helps organizations understand the current condition of their networks and identify technical and operational gaps before making upgrade or expansion decisions. Depending on the agreed assessment scope, the review may cover network topology, connectivity equipment, key configurations, available documentation, and dependencies across sites and applications.
DIMAS presents the findings and prioritized recommendations to help the organization define corrective actions and next steps, without implying that remediation or implementation is included in the assessment.
01When you need this
An organization may need a network assessment when connectivity problems recur, network documentation is outdated, new sites or upgrades are planned, or technical gaps and dependencies must be understood before approving a new project.
02Typical scope
- Current-state discovery and stakeholder requirements
- Asset, configuration and documentation review
- Gap, risk and dependency register
- Prioritized recommendations and implementation roadmap
03Deliverables
- Current-state network assessment report covering the agreed review scope.
- Register of identified gaps, risks, and technical dependencies.
- Technical recommendations prioritized by operational impact.
- Proposed remediation or upgrade roadmap, identifying activities requiring separate design or implementation.
This service is limited to network assessment, findings, recommendations, and deliverables expressly included in the agreed scope. It does not automatically include equipment procurement or supply, network installation or reconfiguration, implementation of recommended remediation, or ongoing support and maintenance. Such activities require an additional agreed scope or separate engagement. Availability, security, compliance, coverage, capacity, performance, and business outcomes are not guaranteed unless supported by agreed measurable acceptance criteria and evidence. Third-party subscriptions, civil works, utilities, and specialist approvals are excluded unless expressly included.

Network Design & Architecture
Enterprise network design and architecture helps organizations plan new networks or modernize existing infrastructure before equipment procurement or implementation. Design activities are based on site conditions, users, applications, connectivity, security, and scalability requirements to establish an interconnected architecture with clearly defined solution boundaries. Depending on the agreed design scope, work may include high-level and detailed LAN, WAN, and WLAN architecture; core, distribution, and access layers; IP addressing; VLAN segmentation; routing; and system integration interfaces. Technical assumptions, dependencies, implementation requirements, and acceptance considerations are documented without implying that equipment supply or installation is automatically included.
Structured Cabling Systems
Structured cabling systems provide the organized physical connectivity needed for enterprise networks, end-user devices, and building technology systems. DIMAS supports the planning, design, and implementation of copper cabling infrastructure, network outlets, patch panels, and cable pathways according to site requirements and the systems being connected. Depending on the agreed contractual scope, work may include pathway and outlet planning, supply of approved components, cable installation and termination, labelling, cabinet cable management, applicable testing, and documentation of results. Test requirements, acceptance criteria, and handover records are defined according to the project before implementation.
Fiber Optic Cabling & Splicing
Fiber optic cabling supports optical connectivity between network equipment, telecommunications rooms, buildings, and sites according to project requirements. DIMAS provides fiber pathway planning, installation of single-mode and multimode cables, fusion splicing, termination, and organization using appropriate optical distribution components, based on site conditions and connectivity requirements. Depending on the agreed contractual scope, work may include pathway and endpoint planning, supply of approved components, cable pulling and protection, splicing, termination, labelling, optical loss measurements, OTDR testing where included, and documentation of results. Responsibilities, acceptance criteria, and handover requirements are defined before work begins.
