01Summary
This project aimed to supply the core hardware components for a point-to-point microwave communication link supporting data services according to the approved configuration for an international engineering firm. DIMAS provided a radio hardware suite including directional antennas, outdoor radio units, and indoor units manufactured by SAF Tehnika. The infrastructure was also supported by WAN routers, network termination units, and power protection components.
02Requirements
The project list included radio units, antennas, routers, and termination equipment, in addition to power, grounding, and protection components associated with the wireless link hardware.
03Technical fit
The supplied components combine indoor and outdoor radio units and antennas, alongside routers and a termination unit supporting WAN communications. The final operational interconnection between these elements depends on the connection diagram, interface configurations, frequency plan, and link test results. The project list included components related to power, grounding, and protection for outdoor equipment.
04Documented scope
- Microwave radio equipment supply
- Antenna and related mounting accessories provision
05Key components
The project file records an actual duration of 28 days against a contractual 30 days. The supply scope included microwave equipment, routers, connections, rack cabinets, and backup power components specified in the bill of quantities.
DIMAS consolidated radio equipment, antennas, routers, power components, and physical accessories from several manufacturers within the supply package to meet project needs.
